About Us

Artists' Circle is an association of fine craft artists who live and work in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Artists' Circle serves as an educational advocate for fine crafts; plus it promotes venues for the exhibition and sale of work by local professional fine craft and fine art artists.

Originality, craftsmanship, creativity, skillful use of materials, as well as presentation and sale-ability are the professional criteria. The organization produces juried art fairs in St. Paul: the highly regarded Art at Ramsey (since 1995) in conjunction with Saint Paul Public Schools Community Education and also Art at St. Kate's (since 2008) in cooperation with Textile Center. Art at Highland (2001 to 2013) has been discontinued.

Artists' Circle encourages new fine craft artists to exhibit and sell at juried art fairs with its Emerging Artist Scholarships. As part of its dedication to educational outreach, Artists' Circle is committed to encouraging school-age youth to pursue their artistic interests by participating in the Youth Art Fair at Art at Ramsey.
